The Mr Start Made to Measure Shirt Service
Here at Mr Start we already are famous for our made to measure tailoring service, however, did you know that we provide the same service for our shirts? Sometimes it can be hard to find the right fit, so once you find it, its a godsend! Especially as shirts are something we wear every day.
It may be you need a longer length of sleeve, or a broader shoulder, or that you love the fit of our shirts already and just would like it in a range of colours and fabrics. It may be that you are looking for a gift for someone who has everything. Well, you can buy them a gift card for their own made to measure shirts.
Well that's where our made to measure service comes in handy.
Our prices start at £195 for one made to order shirt, and for three made to order shirts, prices start at £175 each.
Prices may vary depending on which fabrics and details you choose.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FROM INITIAL CONSULTATION TO FINAL FITTING?
From consultation to delivery is between 4 - 6 weeks.
WHAT IS THE ‘MR. START’ STYLE?

For made to measure shirts, you can choose your favourite feature from each shirt, for example if you like the collar on the Drake shirt, but prefer the cuff of the Ritz, we can make your shirt with these features. If you prefer the Truman fit rather than our slim fit, we can create your shirt with slim fit shirt details but the causal fit of a Truman. The possibilities are endless!
HOW MANY TIMES WILL I NEED TO VISIT TO HAVE MY SHIRT MADE?
You will have your first fitting, where we measure you and take you through the choices. This can last up to 1 hour, dependant on how decisive you are on what fabric and features you want. We have a vast range for you to choose from, but will guide you skillfully so it's not too confusing.
If you are having more than one shirt made, we will have the first one delivered as soon as possible, we will then arrange the second fitting to make sure it fits perfectly. Once we have approved the fit, we will have the remaining shirts made.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
Book an appointment with one of our made to measure specialists, we will talk you through the different fits and show you the different options available to you. Next, we will try you in a few of our shirts and establish the one that best suits the look you want to achieve.
Once we have taken your measurements and established the style and fit, we move on to look at the finer details.
We will show you our wide variety of beautiful fabrics and select buttons, stitch details and even monogramming and a custom handkerchief if you so wish! The ideal gift for someone if you know they already love our shirts.
DO YOU HOLD SOME EXAMPLES OF SHIRTS THAT I CAN TRY ON BEFORE I COMMIT TO A MADE TO MEASURE SHIRT?
Yes, we have a number of different styles, you can choose which style you feel works best for you. We also will be there to talk you through the styles and help you decipher which is most suitable for your shape and purpose.
DO I NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes, we work by appointment only, but will aim to work around your schedule.
CAN I TRACK MY MADE TO MEASURE SHIRT WHEN IT IS BEING MADE?
We will be in contact with you at every stage, we will let you know when we have an estimated delivery and again when it arrives in store, and then we can book you in for a second fitting.
CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN FABRIC AND DETAILS?
Yes absolutely, that is the beauty of made to measure.
