Andy Bell at Stranger than Paradise Records

Well it was a busy old week last week, but one of the highlights was the London launch party of our dear friend Andy Bells new album Pinball Wanderer at the brilliant independant record store Stranger than Paradise in Mare Street Market East London.

The night started with an in-store acoustic set by Andy where we squeezed in for a sonic treat- you may know him from the band Ride and for his work with Oasis, but he is a man of many projects and has worked with some incredible artists over the years including the late great Andrew Weatherall and Andys brilliant solo project GLOK.

The great and the good of music turned out, and superb DJ sets followed by Richard Norris, Justin Robertson and the lovely Simone Butler of Primal Scream. Brix and I had a wonderful night. I wore my perrenial staple Mr Start Hoi polloi roll neck sweater and my Pitfield flannel suit

You can pick up a copy of Andys new albumfrom all great record stores, but if you want to support Noreen and Marv who run Stranger Than Paradise Records, you can buy Pinball Wanderer here or instore
